Health improvement campaign launched

Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh patronised the launch of the introductory campaign for the Health Improvement Strategy 2015- 18.

The ministry’s mission is to provide Bahrain’s population with 24/7 easily accessible high quality healthcare.

The ministry employees have been familiarized with the values embedded in the ministry’s strategy including four inter-connected principles: Patient is First, safety, excellence, community and partnership.

The ministry aims to boost the public health, ensure sustainability of health services and preventative care and integrate services into the health system under the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the relevant public and private institutions.

The ministry launched 20 initiatives to implement its goals to promote healthy lifestyles, reduce communicable diseases, fight and prevent incommunicable diseases, protect people from contagious diseases and develop data systems and infrastructure.
