Manama : The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has said that a report regarding Turkiye Is Bankasi AS, a conventional wholesale bank (branch) licensed in Bahrain, that appeared on an online news portal, is false.

The website reported that the CBB has cancelled the bank’s license in Bahrain in a news item published on 16th March.

The CBB stated that this news is completely false and baseless, and confirmed that the branch is operating normally in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
