New board to build on Bahrain’s intellectual property achievements

Maryam Al Omran Elected IP Society President

The Bahrain Intellectual Property Society has elected Maryam Imran Al Omran as its new President, succeeding founder Asmaa Abdulaziz Al Najdi. The new board includes Dr Hanan Mohammed Zaki Al Mulla as Vice President, Dr Saqr Eid Faris Faleh Al Ruwis as Treasurer and legal consultant Shaker Ahmed Hassan Jalalah as Secretary. Al Omran praised Al Najdi’s contributions, including securing observer status at the World Intellectual Property Organization and launching the first Gulf Intellectual Property Conference.
