Uproar over waterpark women abuse incident

An alleged sexual harassment incident and the response to it from the water-park where it happened became a source of huge public outcry in the past few days.

A video published recently showed two women being harassed by a huge group of men at a water park.

The women targeted did not file a complaint; however, the video was submitted to the authorities and an investigation is underway. The Lost Paradise of Dilmun (LPOD) Waterpark stated that police have begun investigation into the incident and that security has been stepped up at the waterpark to prevent any future incidents.

However, the statement also added that the two women were previously warned against entering the pool.

Residents took to social media to show their outrage at the incident while also expressing their displeasure to the statement released by the water-park management.
