Three arrested for car robbery

Three men have been arrested for stealing a parked car in front of a house in Riffa, the Ministry of Interior announced yesterday. The ministry said that the Southern Governorate Police director-general reported the case of the men, who are aged between 25 and 32. One of the three was responsible for stealing the car before handing it to the other two, one of whom owns a scraps-selling shop.

They took the vehicle to the shop and dismantled it and sold some of the parts. The director-general said that an investigation into the case led to identifying and arresting the suspects while the remaining body of the car was found at the shop. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
