Bahrain brings its cultural heritage to Sepang
A dedicated ‘Bahrain Village’ inside the circuit offers race fans traditional music, entertainment, and local identity during the Grand Prix weekend.
SEPANG: Bahrain is showcasing its culture and heritage at a dedicated Bahrain Village at the Sepang International Circuit during the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2026, offering visitors a distinctive cultural experience alongside the Formula One action.
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority Chief Executive Officer Sara Buhiji said the village, located in the circuit’s visitor reception area, would host a range of activities throughout the race weekend.
She highlighted the prominent role of Bahraini identity in the village, with traditional entertainment and Bahraini music forming part of the visitor experience.
Buhiji said the authority was present in Malaysia to follow preparations and support the efforts of Team Bahrain in delivering the event.
She also thanked the Ministry of Interior and Bahrain International Circuit for their work in meeting the requirements for the event.
Although Sepang has not hosted a Formula One event for several years, she expressed confidence that the combined efforts of Team Bahrain would contribute to a successful race weekend.
