HM the King hailed Bahrain’s 3rd Universal Periodic Review before the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, adding that the national report earned the praise of many participating countries. “Bahrain takes pride in its outstanding human rights record which is based on modern and developed constitutional and legal provisions,” he said, hailing Bahrain’s long-standing heritage of coexistence, fraternity, equality and plurality.
