The Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) and the Indian Club organized a Cardiac Awareness Camp for their members in collaboration with the American Mission Hospital. The camp took place on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the Indian Club, with a focus on educating attendees about cardiac health and emergency response.

With cardiac arrest remaining a leading cause of death worldwide, Dr. Babu Ramachandran, along with AMH staff nurse Ms. Freeda Emilia and team member Mr. Prince, underscored the importance of CPR—an essential life-saving technique in emergencies. Participants engaged in hands-on demonstrations of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, acquiring vital skills that could help save lives.

Dr. P V Cherian also shared his experiences during the event, emphasizing the critical role of CPR knowledge in emergencies.
