Extend bridges of cooperation: PM

Manama : His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday urged Bahraini envoys to “spare no effort to highlight Bahrain’s civilised and ideal image at all gatherings.”

“Extend bridges of cooperation” and “make sure you always disseminate the correct information, counter attempts to tarnish the kingdom’s image,” the Premier told the newly appointed ambassadors during a reception.

Bahraini Ambassadors to Oman, Dr. Juma’a bin Ahmed Al-Ka’abi, Germany, Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, Jordan, Ahmed Yussef Al-Rouwaie, Thailand, Ahmed Abdulla Al-Hajir, Algeria, Fuad Sadiq Al-Baharna, India, Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Qaood, Indonesia, Dr. Mohammed Ghassab Shikhu, Japan, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Dosari, and Tunisia, Ibrahim Mahmoud Ahmed were present.

HRH Premier urged the envoys to be the best representatives of their country and stressed the need to extend bridges of cooperation with the host countries to achieve Bahrain’s interests and consolidate its status at regional and global arenas.

“Continue the Kingdom’s approach which is based on strengthening its cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries,” Prince Khalifa told the envoys.

The Premier also reiterated his support for Bahrain’s diplomatic missions abroad to bolster kingdom’s good relations with various brotherly and friendly countries.
