Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has won the Best Bank Award in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in Straight Through Processing (STP) in recognition of its excellence and high efficiency, with a 94.20% satisfaction, on nomination by Standard Chartered Bank.

On this occasion, BisB Acting Chief Executive Mohammed Ahmed Janahi received Hassan Qambar, Manager, Banking Institutions of Banking Services at Chartered Bank, who presented him with the trophy and award letter.

Janahi, expressing happiness over BisB winning the award, said that the honour “will undoubtedly add to the Bank’s record of achievements.”

He praised the efforts made by the bank’s employees, particularly in Central Operations, while receiving the award.

Qambar, Manager of Financial Institutions of Islamic Services at Chartered Bank, congratulated BisB, welcoming all aspects of cooperation between the two banks and lauding the successful strategic partnership between the two parties in this respect.
