Arsenal will be looking to reclaim top spot in the Premier League when they host a struggling Newcastle United side at 7:30 PM this evening. The Gunners also receive a timely boost with the return of Bukayo Saka and Riccardo Calafiori, adding depth ahead of a crucial stage in the title race.

Mikel Arteta’s side were overtaken by Manchester City last weekend and now sit second only on goal difference after the reigning champions secured a midweek win over Burnley, tightening an already intense battle at the top.

With the season approaching its decisive stretch, Arsenal know that any dropped points could prove costly in their pursuit of a first league title since 2004. Their recent performances have fallen short of expectations, but consistency remains crucial if they are to keep pace with Guardiola’s side.

Newcastle arrive in London in alarming form, having lost eight of their last 11 Premier League matches since late January. That slump has seen them slide down the table, with Eddie Howe’s side now under pressure to rediscover stability and end the season on a stronger note.
