In collaboration with Bahrain Olympic Committee and the Bahrain Combat Sports Council, General Sports Authority and Bahrain Taekwondo Federation, the Korean Embassy in Bahrain is organising its final celebratory programme for the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between Korea and Bahrain.

As a part of their world tour and for the first time in Bahrain, the KUKKIWON demonstration team is set to perform for two days, 25-26 November, in the Bahrain Table Tennis Association hall - B in Isa Sports City, amidst adherence to the followed precautionary measures.

Comprised of 23 Taekwondo masters with more than 10 years in the field, the KUKKIWON team will be showing its marvellous skills to the Bahraini audience.

Its unique demonstration of martial arts techniques such as jumps and flips and famously-agile tricks earned the team global recognition for its participation in the famous contest show “AMERICA’S GOT TALENT”.

Korea celebrates Taekwondo as a national martial arts sport for thousands of years.

It has been listed as an official sport in the Olympics since 2000 and is set to be listed officially as part of the Hangzhou Paralympics games as of 2022.

The Korean Embassy in Bahrain has been organising various events in the promotion of Korean culture and the Embassy successfully organized a musical concert, a movie festival and a food festival.

The event is open to the public and only Green Shield carriers can enter the premises.
