The Indian Community Welfare Association – ICRF Bahrain continues its annual summer awareness program – Thirst Quenchers 2025.
The third week event of ICRF Thirst Quenchers 2025 was held on Sunday, 6 July 2025, at a worksite in Mina Salman.
Aligning with the Ministry of Labour’s initiative to ensure a safe working environment during the sweltering three months, ICRF Bahrain distributed water, juice, laban, orange, apple and banana at the worksite of Kontra located in Mina Salman.
This year, the event is supported by the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Labour, Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and IOM. Around 130 workers took part in the event.
Ms Nedal Abdulla Alalawai from the Ministry of Interior spoke about their commitment in supporting the workers.
ICRF Chairman Adv. V K Thomas talked about general health and safety precautions to be taken. The Bohra community and generous volunteers have shown strong support for this project.
