Teacher fined for calling student 'donkey'

A Kuwaiti court fined a teacher KD50 (about Dh500) for insulting a student and telling him ‘stand up you donkey’.

This story went viral of social media and many said that the teacher deserves this as he should set an example and be a role model for his students.

“He must teach them good manners. If he calls students ‘donkey’ then how can he be fit to teach students good manners?” wrote Sondos, a Kuwaiti woman.

Another Kuwaiti man, Naief, said that in such behaviour, the teacher has insulted the student, and himself, in front of the other students.
