Tamkeen praises law amendments

Her Excellency Maha Abdul Hameed Mofeez, Chief Executive Officer of the Labour Fund, Tamkeen, has commended the recent approval of Law No. (14) of 2024, which amends Article (4) of Law No. (57) of 2006 establishing the Labour Fund.

The amendment, approved by the legislative authority, aims to bolster the employment of Bahraini citizens by limiting Tamkeen’s support to companies and institutions with Bahraini ownership stakes.

This aligns with national plans to enhance the labour market, support Bahrainis in improving their skills, and boost their productivity and competitiveness.

The new law is expected to significantly increase employment opportunities for citizens across private sector institutions.
