Manama--

The Speaker of the Representatives Council Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla condemned the terror blast which hit Al-Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Al-Sawaber in Kuwait city during the Friday prayers, killing at least 25 people and wounding many others. He said that such terror attempts would not succeed in affecting the Kuwaiti society’s unity.

“The Bahrain government and the people are united against all attempts to undermine the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. Any attack targeting the security and stability of a brotherly country is a direct attack on Bahrain,” he said.

The Speaker remarked that such attacks would be eliminated through continuous cooperation between the two countries and their people.

He emphasised that the perpetrators of those terror crimes had nothing to do with Islam or any Islamic sect.

He extended profound condolences to the families of the victims.

The Speaker called on GCC and international parliaments to condemn terror acts, amid the evil threats putting the region’s security at risk.

He offered deep condolences to his Kuwaiti National Assembly counterpart Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, the Kuwaiti government and the people. Meanwhile, the Shura Council also strongly denounced the terror blast in
