Restrictions on bringing outside food to Salmaniya Medical Complex patients

Patients admitted at the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) can be brought food from outside only during permitted visiting hours, it has been announced. This is within the Health Ministry’s framework of implementing precautionary measure in order to contain and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in Bahrain as well as for the safety of the patients. It is also important that these foods meet safety requirements and does not conflict with the patient’s health. The SMC also affirmed that all visitors must wear masks and maintain social distancing in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
