Premier highlights govt’s keenness on human skills

In a tribute to the citizens,Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the government had realised the importance of investing in the Bahrainis citizens, being the most successful investments, and, therefore, focused its efforts on enhancing human development.

Praising the Bahraini citizens’ awareness on the challenges and ability to deal with them, HRH the Prime Minister expressed deep pride in the values of co-existence in the Bahraini society.

HRH Premier’s remarks came during a meeting with a number of senior state officials, media personnel, businessmen and academics at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday. HRH Premier said the government welcomed the remarks aimed at support ing its auditing policies, which ensured that public money was spent in the fields assigned to it legally.

Prince Khalifa voiced pride in the positive interaction of the National Press and columnists with the remarks featuring in the Audit Report 2014-2015 issued by the National Audit Office, which, he asserted, reflected the effective role played by the Press in the National Action march.

HRH Premier stressed that the existing multiple challenges required a dynamic media that enlightens the public opinion, interacts with the unfolding events and has the spirit of initiative to analyse and diagnose them. “The National Press has succeeded in being close to the citizens and establishing itself as an integral credible source of information regarding local, regional and global development,” Prince Khalifa pointed out.

On regional and global developments, HRH the Premier said plots against the Arab Nation were on the increase, which, he said, required Arabs to unify their stances in order to be able to foil those conspiracies.
