New housing contracts to be distributed today

Manama : New contracts will be distributed today to the recipients of the Hunainya housing project units. The Ministry of Housing will receive the first batch of beneficiaries and hand them over the upgraded contracts.

The measure follows directives of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to respond to citizens’ queries.

The new format will specify the monthly instalment, the value of the land, construction and land levelling as well as the administrative fees levied by the Eskan Bank.

In a statement yesterday, Housing Ministry Legal Advisor Fatma Al-Mannai announced that the new-look contracts would apply to the new housing projects so as to update citizens on the financial value of their units and the required monthly instalments which do not exceed a quarter of their salaries.

The Ministry of Housing will continue receiving other recipients of the Hunainya project units in the coming days to hand them over their contracts.
