The Ministry of Education organized the annual Arabic Language Week from November 16 to 20, with widespread celebrations across Bahraini schools focusing on national identity and linguistic development.

Professor Ibrahim Ali Al-Borshid, Assistant Undersecretary for Education, highlighted the Ministry’s belief that mastering the mother tongue positively impacts students’ academic achievement and cultural pride.

Schools excelled in their programs: Saar Secondary School for Girls held writing competitions and a ‘Green Reading’ initiative; Sheikh Khalifa Institute of Technology organized Arabic calligraphy and debates; Aali Primary School for Girls introduced educational games and digital story creation using AI; and Al-Hadd Preparatory School for Girls presented ‘My Language in a Minute’ and the play ‘My Language is My Identity.’
