Ministry hands over new homes in Hajjiat

Manama : Distribution of residential units to beneficiaries in Hajjiat Project commenced yesterday, said a top official.

“The distribution process will continue in batches until all residential units are given to the beneficiaries,” said Dr. Khaled Abdulrahman Al Haydan, Assistant Undersecretary for Policies and Housing Services.

The move follows the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to allocate and deliver 4,800 housing units in the Kingdom’s governorate.

Hajjiat Project is one of the major housing projects in the Southern Governorate and part of the 25,000 housing units implemented under the Government Action Plan in accordance with the Royal Directive to construct 40,000 housing units.
