Amman

Noting that Bahrain and Jordan are one nation, Jordanian Prime Minister Abdulla Al-Nsour yesterday commented that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa had brought about innumerable reforms to the kingdom during his prosperous era.

He also lauded the wisdom and statesmanship of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the progress boom witnessed by the kingdom under his leadership of the government.

He was speaking in a meeting with the Speaker of the Representatives Council Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, who is currently on a visit to Jordan at the invitation of the Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives Atef Al-Tarawneh to discuss ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation.

Al-Mulla lauded the Bahraini-Jordanian relations, stressing that Bahrain and Jordan are one nation and that their security was indivisible. He praised Jordan’s leading role in contributing to efforts to reinforce security and stability in the region.

e also mentioned Jordan’s support for the security of Bahrain and backing of the reforms that resulted from HM the King’s Reform Project, valuing highly its efforts in support of the Palestinians, as well as the Iraqis and Syrian refugees.

The speaker highlighted the importance of Jordan’s participation in the Arab Coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen, as well as the International Coalition against Daesh terrorist organisation. “The two countries are currently facing terrorism, an evil phenomenon aiming to spark sedition and impede development and reform efforts.”

He pointed out the contributions of the Jordanian community into the kingdom’s comprehensive development march, thanking Jordan for the care allocated for Bahrainis there by the Jordanian government.
