iGA gets ISO certification for IT management

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) once again attained the ISO Certificate 2011:20000 for IT Management, by the Bureau Veritas Company.

iGA is the first governmental entity to be certified for the implementation of all rules and required standards of the certificate. iGA Chief Executive Mohamed Ali AlQaed said the re-attainment of the ISO Certificate reflects the Authority’s efforts in developing the IT infrastructure in Bahrain.

“This performance has supported the Authority to obtain the ISO/IEC 20000 certificate.”
