Bahraini jockey Ibrahim Nader has achieved a major milestone in his career after securing his first victory on British racecourses, winning a handicap race aboard Distinct Spirit at Ffos Las Racecourse in the United Kingdom.
Nader guided the horse, owned by Mr and Mrs J. Middlebrook and trained by Daniel and Claire Kubler, to victory in the competitive event, marking his first triumph in British racing.
Training Programme Boosts Bahraini Racing Talent
The achievement came as part of the training programme organised by the Jockey Support Fund, which aims to develop Bahraini riders by providing opportunities to gain practical experience through training and participation in British races.
The programme is designed to enhance jockeys’ skills and prepare them in a professional racing environment, helping strengthen Bahrain’s representation in international equestrian competitions.

The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club and the Jockey Support Fund congratulated Ibrahim Nader on his achievement, praising his outstanding performance and dedication that led to his first British racing victory.
They expressed their wishes for his continued success and further positive results in upcoming competitions.
Through the Jockey Support Fund, the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club continues to support national talent by investing in Bahraini jockeys and providing development opportunities to help them gain international experience and compete at major racing venues worldwide.
