HRH Princess Sabeeka to patronise Women’s Day

Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women Chairwoman, HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa will patronise the Bahraini Women’s Day 2015, to be held in December at the premises of the Bahrain Bourse at the Financial Harbour.

Themed “Women in the Financial and Banking Sector,” this year’s Bahraini Women’s Day aims to pay tribute to women for the crucial role they have played in this vital sector for more than 50 years, given the fact that 36 per cent working in this sector are women.

Ever since the theme of this year’s Bahraini Women’s Day was announced in January, 2015, the SCW and the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) have held a number of events to shed light on the situation of Bahraini women in the banking and financial sector.
