Bahrain witnessed hailstones falling in some parts of the Kingdom as light showers were reported in many areas in the afternoon today.

Many expats who were curious about the hailstorms, collected the water droplets.

The Meteorological Directorate had forecast a cloudy weather with a chance of scattered rain, which may become thundery at times with rising sand in places.

It was partly cloudy in the afternoon. Meanwhile General Directorate of Traffic called upon road users to be cautious of the rain for their safety.
