The green colour is always refreshing to look at. And when the colour is adorned on a performance package called GTR Alpha a, it becomes an irresistible sight for supercar lovers.

Ali Tarradah is the proud owner of just that, a green GTR Alphaa.

The model had immediately became well accepted among the circle of automobile fanciers when it was unveiled in 2007.

From 1969 to 1974 and again between 1989 and 2002, Nissan brought on a high performance edition of its Skyline sedan called the Nissan Skyline GTR. The car proved to be iconic for Nissan and achieved much fame and success on both road and track. The Nissan GTR, although no longer has the “Skyline” badge, carries the lineage of the Nissan Skyline GTR.

Bringing modifications to your daily driving car, particularly one as special as GT-R is nothing to be taken softly.

Tarradah has been careful in this, and has brought about a number of modifications to upgrade its performance. The alterations include alpha 10 plus turbo, Ams cams, Ams fuel lines, Dodson promax clutches 10, Dodosn first gear, Dodson gear locks and forks, Dodson basket A and B, ID1300cc injectors, HKS trans cooler, AAM intercooler, E-bach springs, Forged performance front and rear sway bars.

Resembling the later generations of the Skyline GTRs, the Nissan GTR is four- wheel drive with a twin-turbo 6- cylinder engine and has the signature four-round tail light.

However, the GT-R is completely redesigned from the previous Skylines. The four-wheel-steering HICAS system has been removed and has been replaced with a new V6. Because of the GTR’s heritage, the chassis code for the all-new version has been called CBA-R35, or ‘R35 .
