MP Maryam Al-Dhaen has emphasized the critical need for a robust legislative framework to underpin Bahrain’s ambitious Economic Vision 2050.

Al-Dhaen highlighted the imperative of aligning laws with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, stressing that the vision must resonate with Bahraini society’s aspirations while remaining adaptable to evolving global dynamics.

Key pillars such as sustainability, economic diversification, and national development were underscored by Al-Dhaen, who emphasized the delicate balance between economic stability, citizen rights, and private sector support. She also advocated for integrating sustainable development goals and fostering regional cooperation within the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Al-Dhaen hailed strategic projects like the Bahrain-Qatar bridge as catalysts for economic growth, envisioning closer ties between Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Emphasizing collaboration between government and legislative bodies, she affirmed a commitment to realizing Bahrain’s vision with input from diverse stakeholders.
