Fire Breaks Out on American Airlines Plane at Denver Airport

A dramatic scene unfolded at Denver International Airport when an American Airlines plane caught fire while taxiing on the runway. The blaze, which broke out from the aircraft’s left main wheel, forced an emergency evacuation.

All 173 people on board were quickly evacuated onto the tarmac. One person was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but no fatalities were reported.

Early reports suggest the fire may have been caused by overheated brakes or a wheel malfunction, but a full investigation is underway.

This incident marks the second fire-related emergency involving an American Airlines flight at Denver International Airport this year, raising concerns about maintenance and safety protocols.

Airport operations were temporarily impacted, but flights resumed shortly after the scene was secured.
