Farmers’ Market to open on December 3

Manama : The 5th edition of Bahrain Farmers’ Market will open on December 3 and run until April 27. The Agriculture and Marine Resources is holding the annual event at the Budaiya Gardens, in concert with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development.

“A series of workshops will also be held to update the exhibitors on latest agricultural techniques,” informed Under-secretary for Agriculture and Marine Resources Shaikh Khalifa bin Isa Al Khalifa in a statement here yesterday.

“Registration started last week and will continue until October 20. Twenty-eight exhibitors have so far registered,” the statement added.
