The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has announced the end of the registration period for the ninth edition of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme.

The Prime Minister’s Fellowship programme reflects the commitment of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to investing in and upskilling the skillset of Bahrain’s national workforce, who remains a valuable asset to Bahrain’s development.

Registration for the ninth edition of the programme took place between 3 September and 3 October 2023, and has witnessed approximately 2,000 applicants from across various government agencies.

All applicants are subject to a rigorous evaluation process that includes interviews and aptitude tests in preparation for the final selection of candidates for the ninth intake of the programme.

The Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme is an ambitious programme which aims to attract young Bahraini professionals in the public sector to enhance their skillsets and expertise through intensive courses delivered by leading experts. The fellows also receive firsthand knowledge of government-related projects.
