As part of ongoing national efforts to strengthen maritime safety and curb violations, the Coast Guard Command has carried out a joint inspection campaign across several maritime areas, the Ministry of Interior announced.

The operation was conducted in coordination with the Ports and Maritime Affairs, the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. It focused on ensuring adherence to maritime safety laws and regulations while raising awareness among workers and seafarers about the importance of following official safety guidelines.

Authorities reported that several violations were identified during the campaign, with legal measures taken against those responsible.
