Bologna remain in Serie A’s Champions League places after Riccardo Orsolini’s stunning volley secured a 1-0 win at struggling Venezia.

Italy international Orsolini guided home a superb finish from Nicolo Cambiaghi’s cross just three minutes after half-time, ensuring Bologna stay in fourth place for at least another week.

Vincenzo Italiano’s team are four points ahead of fifth-placed Juventus, thanks to their fifth straight win in Italy’s top flight, and are aiming for the last spot in Europe’s top club competition.
