Bahrain condemns terrorist attack on mosque in Niger

The Kingd o m of Bahrain strongly condemned and denunciated the brutal terrorist attack that targeted a mosque in southwestern Niger, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of innocent civilians. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended condolences to the families of the victims and the Niger government and people, wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.

The ministry also reiterated Bahrain’s solidarity with Niger in its efforts to combat extremism and terrorism, maintain the country’s security and stability, as well as its absolute rejection of attacks on places of worship and the intimidation of peaceful civilians, considering such acts as heinous crimes that go against all religious and humanitarian values.
