A new wave of dust storm is expected to hit some regions in Bahrain today, reducing visibility and making breathing outside difficult.

The Meteorological Directorate at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry yesterday issued the alert for the public’s safety.

A thick dust haze will severely affect the Kingdom until tomorrow. The General Traffic Department called on all motorists to take caution while driving, given the expected wave of dust and dirt, which may cause a low level of visibility.

The Coast Guard Command also called on sea-goers to take precautions due to the wave of dust accompanied by high speed winds at times for their safety.
