Ways to promote heritage and culture discussed

Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) president Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received yesterday in her office GFH Financial Group Chief Executive and Board of Directors member Hesham Ahmed Al Rayes.

They discussed ways of boosting co-operation to promote the cultural movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Shaikha Mai stressed the need for synergised efforts to boost the civilisational achievements, lauding contribution of GFH Financial Group to the cultural scene in Bahrain. Both sides discussed issues of common interest and ways of achieving a number of future cultural projects, including the kingdom’s celebration of the Islamic Art Day on November 18.

Al Rayes thanked Shaikha Mai for her unrelenting efforts to preserve the Kingdom’s heritage and promote cultural work. He underlined constant support to BACA’s projects which are aimed at promoting Bahrain’s image at important international gatherings.
