Abu Dhabi: A seven-year-old Indian boy critically injured in a car crash that killed his three brothers and the family’s domestic worker has died, raising the death toll to five. Azzaam succumbed to his injuries on Monday evening at a hospital in Abu Dhabi.

The crash occurred early Sunday as the Kerala-origin family was returning to Dubai from the Liwa Festival. The victims include brothers Ashaz (14), Ammaar (12), Ayyash (5) and domestic worker Bushra (49). The parents are now out of danger, while the family’s only surviving child, 10-year-old Izzaa, is in stable condition.
