The Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) announced the promotion of two Bahraini women to senior leadership positions. Fatema AlWardi has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Fatema Al Zayed Al Jalahma as Chief Registrar (CR). Reflecting on this occasion, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, stated: “We take great pride in seeing our Bahraini women colleagues assume leadership roles, reflecting the Chamber’s commitment to empowering national talent and advancing gender diversity in leadership. This milestone supports our ongoing efforts to build a capable and inspiring leadership team that can drive the Chamber’s vision and strengthen Bahrain’s position as a leading regional hub for the development of the ADR industry.”

Source of pride

Professor Marike Patrani Paulson, Vice-Chairperson of the Chamber’s Board of Trustees, emphasised that the distinguished calibre of female personnel within the Chamber is a source of pride. She observed that each phase of career progression presents new opportunities, broadening horizons for learning and offering renewed avenues to expand perceptions, cultivate leadership abilities, and refine expertise. These developments ultimately contribute to more effective contributions towards the realisation of the Chamber’s objectives at all levels.
