The moon-sighting committee convened on June 24, at the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs to discuss the moon-sighting and announce Eid Al Fitr. Attending the meeting were Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs & Endowments Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa and committee members.
