RC sticker on windshields of vehicles goes

Manama : Vehicle owners need not stick their registration certificate (RC) on the windshields any more, General Director of Traffic Colonel Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa has announced. The printed version of the vehicle registration certificate has been discarded to expedite the e-registration process, he said. “This will enable registrars to finalise the process electronically through the e-government portal and smart phone traffic application,” he said. They have to keep the e-payment receipt to show it to the police whenever they demand. He said that the e-services will be developed continuously, assuring that the traffic police won’t issue fines for drivers who don’t stick the vehicle registration certificate on the front window of their vehicles.
