DOHA: Majed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Qatar), has expressed deep concern over the escalating attacks targeting energy facilities and civilian infrastructure.

Speaking during the weekly media briefing, Al Ansari warned that such actions set a dangerous precedent and represent a crossing of critical red lines, with potentially far-reaching consequences for regional and global stability.

Qatar has called on all parties involved to exercise restraint and refrain from targeting vital infrastructure. The country also emphasized the urgent need to protect civilians and work toward ending the conflict.

The statement highlighted the broader risks posed by continued escalation, particularly its impact on regional security, as well as global energy supplies and food security.
