The Parliament approved an urgent proposal to promote students born in October, November and December 2013 to the second grade of primary school after undertaking the relevant examination. MP Basem Al Maliki who presented the proposal argued that it was unreasonable that a child was left a class behind in school due to the difference of a number of days in their birthday as compared to their peers.
