Probe indicates dead body linked to bomb blast

Manama : The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science said that an initial investigation into the case of the body found in Hajar village farm on June 19 showed the death was the result of a bomb blast.

He said that shortly after the incident was reported, the crime, forensic and other security teams reached the scene to collect evidence and launched an investigation.

The probe will continue in order to obtain more details about the case for the necessary security and legal steps, he added.

The Public Prosecutor was informed about the case.
