Prince Salman received newly-appointed Ambassador of Thailand to Bahrain, Thanis Na Songkhla, left, at Riffa Palace on May 2, 2018. Prince Salman and the Ambassador discussed bilateral trade relations between Bahrain and Thailand, and reviewed areas of mutual interest to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries. The Ambassador emphasised Thailand’s commitment to continue building on existing Bahrain-Thailand ties. Separately, HRH the Crown Prince also met the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Kingdom, Kemal Demirciler, at Riffa Palace. HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the ongoing development of Bahraini-Turkish relations, particularly in business and trade, and stressed the importance of further increasing cooperation at all levels. Prince Salman noted that the continuous support provided by HM King Hamad to the Bahraini-Turkish partnership is of crucial importance to the advancement of bilateral ties, and has led to numerous mutually beneficial agreements. HRH the Crown Prince and the Ambassador went on to discuss a range of regional and international issues, emphasising the importance of further strengthening development in areas of mutual interest.
