The Christian community in Bahrain celebrated the Palm Sunday, commemorating the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The Sunday before Easter is celebrating Palm Sunday.

It commemorates the event when Jesus enter into Jerusalem on a donkey before his crucifixion, and the people welcomed him by spreading olive branches and palm fronds on the road and singing, "Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna to the Son of David."

The Palm Sunday services at Sacred Heart Church were held under the presiding of the Parish Priest Rev. Fr.
