Old car helps cops trace rioters

An old green car helped police trace five rioters, it emerged.

The cops saw the car at 12 riot scenes as they reviewed footage of rioting from various places. Investigations were carried out to identify its owner, which resulted in his arrest.

Four other men were also nabbed after the police found out that the group was using the green car to transport explosives meant for rioting.

“The car would appear at various riot scenes, and this turned out to be something suspicious. The last one was in Dar Kulaib, where several tyres were set on fire,” the police officer who led investigations told prosecutors.
