Northern Governorate Plans Home Safety Awareness Campaign for Summer

Northern Governor Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Asfoor held a meeting with Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Fadalah, Director of Social Welfare at the Ministry of Social Development, to discuss preparations for the launch of the Governorate’s summer program under the theme "Our Nation and King Unite Us."

The initiative, organized in cooperation with the Bahrain Autism Society, aims to provide support for individuals with autism by fostering their talents and enhancing their skills through inclusive activities.

The meeting also addressed ways to strengthen cooperation in community support, particularly in assisting families affected by emergencies and securing temporary shelter during disasters. Additionally, the two sides discussed launching a comprehensive awareness campaign on home safety and security during the summer months.

Al-Fadalah praised the Northern Governorate’s efforts in engaging youth and individuals with special needs, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to bolstering joint efforts to enhance social care and protection for all segments of society.
