Gulf Air has issued new guidelines for passengers travelling to the Kingdom of Bahrain starting from yesterday.

As per the new guidelines, only the below mentioned passengers will be permitted to enter Bahrain:

- Bahrainis, GCC citizens or passengers holding work visa or passengers with residency in Bahrain are permitted entry.

- Visit visa holders will not be accepted, including passengers who have pre-approved e-visa. Visa on Arrival is suspended.

- All passengers accepted for travel must provide proof of 10-day quarantine booked in their name at the government-designated facility; this does not apply to Bahraini citizens and residents.

- The maximum allowable transit time in Bahrain is 12 hours.

All passengers from India (above six years of age) travelling to Bahrain have to present a negative COVID 19 RT-PCR test result from ICMR approved labs with machine-readable QR code with test/sample taken not more than 48 hours prior to the departure of their flights.
