Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, issued ministerial decisions to reduce, drop, and exempt municipal fees for 155 Bahraini families, who do not own a house and live in rented houses, during August.

The minister stressed that these decisions came as an implementation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s keenness to provide a decent life for all citizens.

He explained that the reduction of municipal fees came consistent with the needs of citizens, as well as exempting some people with limited income from paying future fees or canceling their old debts.

Minister Khalaf assured that the ministry seeks to harness all capabilities and resources to improve citizens’ living standard.
