Mental health awareness at RCSI Bahrain

Manama : The RCSI Bahrain community came together recently to raise awareness and break down the barriers of the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Organised by the Student Health and Wellbeing Unit, in collaboration with the Student Council and the Buddies, the Health Awareness Week featured a full programme of events and a series of themes around how to promote good mental health.

The schedule kicked off with a photography competition to promote healthy mental activities and also included a workshop on how to develop mindfulness; a basketball shootout challenge to emphasise the relationship between physical and mental health; an acoustic music session to promote positive vibes and the building of relationships, as well as a photo booth.
